Moving On

Last March 28-April 4, 2014 me and my friends Yen and Maden attended the PLTI (PSALM Leadership Training Institute) with the theme “Moving On” procured from Isaiah 43: 18-19. This is a nationwide event, therefore there are participants all over the Philippines. Its all so fun and exciting to get to know people from different places in the Philippines. I know it has been too long since the training, but since I still couldn’t “Move On”, I’ll blog about it instead. (haha)

The 7-day event was held at Dao, Pagadian City. There are 4 (four) different levels you’ll go through as you repetitively join the training every year. The said levels are Basic, Advanced, Specialized and Administrative levels, and me and yen are in Specialized level already. Participants of this level before told us that this is the most relaxed and fun level among the four levels. We did so many activities. One of which is (and my favorite) is the Song composition based on the theme “Moving On”. The section/group’s song that’ll be chosen will become the batch’s graduation song. Since I’m really very proud of the song that our section/group made (It’s Passionate by the way, our section’s name), which was chosen as the graduation song. Imma share it you guys. πŸ˜€

And oh by the way, here are some of the photos taken during the training. There are lots, but of course I just chose the ones that has me on it. (hehehehe)

We were sent out to share the gospel during this day. Big smiles everyone! πŸ˜€

Cagayan de Oro Reprezentz!

These are all the participants during the training. 173 Delegates from all over the Philippines, of course, mostly from Mindanao.

We also had exams on the last day after all the lessons on the previous days. Kinda hard!

These are the Specialized Delegates during the Graduation and Banquet. 25 delegates in the said level. Wondered why we’re dressed like this? The theme of the party was Prince and Princesses. So these are the outfits we came up with.

Me and my partner Kuya Simpol. I liked this photo so much, made me looked like I’m tall and thin. (haha)

Image

Yen and her partner Matt-matt. The “towering” pair. They’re both tall. Like really tall. She said she’s a galactic princess which explains the galaxy printed dress. ^_^

Finally received my certificate! Didn’t got the Academic Award though. #MedyoAmbisyosa (haha)

This is my favorite photo of me and my room mates. We call ourselves “The Artis” for fun.

Last day or the farewell day finally came. πŸ˜₯

Me and Maden played with “Miming-in-a-box” for the last time. We hate to say goodbye to that very cute cat. But yeah, I guess that was all for the training. I hope you had fun looking at the pictures. Didn’t elaborate the event through words, because I believed that “Pictures already speaks a thousand words” (or so as the saying goes, whatever. I know you get what I mean. (haha)

When God Made You

A bride in white beautifully adorned wedding gown walking slowly down the isle to the tune of the wedding melody ringing throughout the church’s infrastructure. Awwwweee, don’t you just love weddings? I, myself dreamt of the day that I’ll be the one walking on the same Isle as hers with the man I love waiting for me in front. (Plus points if he will cry as my friend always say! :D) I dreamt of the day that I too can sing the same lyrics of the song “When God Made You” to my other half. ❀

Oh well so much for day dreaming, let’s proceed to the wedding of the year. Last April 25, 2014, I was invited to Atsi Karla and Kuya Ace’s wedding. The event was grand and intimate. Relatives and close friends were the only ones who were invited. From the venue of the wedding ceremony to the reception, everything was thoroughly thought of and carefully planned. For you to a better picture of what I’m talking about, here are some of the photos during the wedding that me and my friend took.

#TravelWithSpruce

April is indeed a busy month for me. Aside from the fact that it’s my birth month, I was also invited into several events. One of the event I was invited by my Photographer friend Florence V., to the mini Spruce “Picnic Party” at Lifestyle District last April 12, 2014. I know, I know this post is long overdue and I must be ashamed of myself for posting this blog so late. But as the saying goes, “Better late than never”, so I’m still posting this thing here! πŸ™‚

On the event, I’m not really fond of girly stuffs, but I should say I was really mesmerized by the cute set-up of the whole place. My attention was caught especially by the Vintage set-up on the front and on each tables.

Enough with the words, here are the photos that Florence got during the event.

The hosts prepared a mini paper plane flying game, where nobody won. Who in the world would’ve thought that game was that hard? haha

Image

I also got to meet these lovely and gorgeous ladies during the event too! (They’re all soooo purdyyy ^_^)

Image

We got to enjoy these cute munchkins during “chow” time, together with nachos, mixed nuts and a fruit tea. πŸ™‚

Paola Pilapil, Geli Paras, and Mai Tan shared their personal travel experiences during the event.

The event was for the Launching of their “Travel With Spruce” Promo, where each individual in Cagayan de Oro has an equal chance of getting an Instax Mini by buying stuffs from Spruce. The more you buy, the more you’ll receive gifts from Spruce. Isn’t amazing?

What made the event more fun was that, I got to go there with my two closest friends Yen and Florence! πŸ™‚
