When God Made You

A bride in white beautifully adorned wedding gown walking slowly down the isle to the tune of the wedding melody ringing throughout the church’s infrastructure. Awwwweee, don’t you just love weddings? I, myself dreamt of the day that I’ll be the one walking on the same Isle as hers with the man I love waiting for me in front. (Plus points if he will cry as my friend always say! :D) I dreamt of the day that I too can sing the same lyrics of the song “When God Made You” to my other half. โค

Oh well so much for day dreaming, let’s proceed to the wedding of the year. Last April 25, 2014, I was invited to Atsi Karla and Kuya Ace’s wedding. The event was grand and intimate. Relatives and close friends were the only ones who were invited. From the venue of the wedding ceremony to the reception, everything was thoroughly thought of and carefully planned. For you to a better picture of what I’m talking about, here are some of the photos during the wedding that me and my friend took.

#TravelWithSpruce

April is indeed a busy month for me. Aside from the fact that it’s my birth month, I was also invited into several events. One of the event I was invited by my Photographer friend Florence V., to the mini Spruce “Picnic Party” at Lifestyle District last April 12, 2014. I know, I know this post is long overdue and I must be ashamed of myself for posting this blog so late. But as the saying goes, “Better late than never”, so I’m still posting this thing here! ๐Ÿ™‚

On the event, I’m not really fond of girly stuffs, but I should say I was really mesmerized by the cute set-up of the whole place. My attention was caught especially by the Vintage set-up on the front and on each tables.

Enough with the words, here are the photos that Florence got during the event.

The hosts prepared a mini paper plane flying game, where nobody won. Who in the world would’ve thought that game was that hard? haha

Image

I also got to meet these lovely and gorgeous ladies during the event too! (They’re all soooo purdyyy ^_^)

Image

We got to enjoy these cute munchkins during “chow” time, together with nachos, mixed nuts and a fruit tea. ๐Ÿ™‚

Paola Pilapil, Geli Paras, and Mai Tan shared their personal travel experiences during the event.

The event was for the Launching of their “Travel With Spruce” Promo, where each individual in Cagayan de Oro has an equal chance of getting an Instax Mini by buying stuffs from Spruce. The more you buy, the more you’ll receive gifts from Spruce. Isn’t amazing?

What made the event more fun was that, I got to go there with my two closest friends Yen and Florence! ๐Ÿ™‚

A Night To Remember

Since it’s Throwback Thursday today and people are still all high and up for the hearts month, February. I’m going to post my outfit on our church’s event for Valentine’s day “A Night to Remember”.

Last year I was also happily single and not bitter so I volunteered to be an Usher during our church’s event for couples (married/dating) and surrounded myself with these awesome people.

Photo Credits to the ever awesome Florence S. Velasco

Just so you know, my hair didn’t magically grew overnight. It’s originally long before it died last year. And when it died, I cut it so short you wouldn’t even remember of me having a long hair. :3

What I’m wearing? All is thrifted, both Powder Pink Colored Cardigan and Floral Dress (Thrift shops actually has some awesome stuffs ‘ya know?), Nude Pumps (Primadona)

Did I tell you how much I love stolen photos. So kudos to Florence for capturing this nice stolen photo of me. ๐Ÿ™‚

Singles Love Day

To whoever said that singles could or should not celebrate during Valentine’s day and should just curl up in bed and eat fattening foods should totally wake up from that sad Valentine’s Day myth.

So me and my awesome friend Yen (who are both currently and happily single) decided to prep up on the very said day. We thought, why be sloppy and sad on Valentine’s Day? This pretty lady pretty much encourages me whenever I feel so insecure with my looks. She uplifts me by pointing me back to my one true Lover, Jesus Christ. Indeed an amazing friend provided by my amazing Father. I am truly blessed to have know her and my other friends in Church. ๐Ÿ™‚

I know I’m a bit late in posting this, but so what? hahaha. So here are some of the photos taken by our PhotoG friend Marco Villanueva(an amazing photoG, kudos to the very nice shots you got Marco!)

And by the way, if you haven’t been informed me, Yen and Andrew got this signature smile, we call it “The Celebrity Smile” (hahah)

Here’s one photo of Yen during the shoot (my personal fave <3). You can check more of her photos on her blog site. Click “here”

And here are some of the photos Marco took of me. Sorry for the lousy poses, I’m not a professional model -_-” (haha)

ย I decided to put a little bit of contrast to my girly floral outfit by using a Military Boots for my footwear instead of a flats or sandals.

Sorry for this disturbing blooper photos. Remember what I told earlier in this blog on how I love stolen photos? hahaha. Sorry Yen! Love you! ๐Ÿ™‚

Before I end this post, let me leave one good advice I live by: “Surround yourself with people who will lift you up rather than the people who will pull you down” ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for dropping by! xoxo
